FOSLA graduates another set of students, unveils Morocco-bound team

Nigeria’s foremost football Academy, Fosla Academy, Karshi Abuja on Wednesday graduated another set of students from its Junior and Senior Secondary schools.

The Proprietor of the Academy, Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi, a former President of the Nigeria Football Federation said the students have been found worthy both in academics and character.

He urged them to ensure that they do not relent in their efforts to emerge the best in their chosen careers.

He further revealed that 70 percent of the graduating students who are on the Academy’s scholarship will be encouraged to further their studies to the tertiary levels.

Lulu also used the opportunity to unveil the Academy players who will be representing the country in the World Secondary Schools Football Championship holding in Morocco.

There was a sent forth match played between the FOSLA Academy team and the Fosla Football Club, which incidentally is the Academy boys last tune – up match before travelling to Morocco.

FOSLA Football Club players who are all product of the Academy, are presently students of Nasarawa State University Keffi, and are currently playing in the Nigeria Nationwide league one.

The match which ended goalless was witnessed by the proprietor of the school, the Fosla Academy Board Secretary Patrick Ngwaogu, Chairman of Fosla Football Club, Godwin Bamigboye and other football lovers who stayed back after the school’s 7th graduation ceremony held earlier in the day.

The Fosla Academy Morocco bound team is expected to depart Nigeria on Friday July 21, 2023.
