Forum wants Hausa-Fulani as FCT minister

The All Progressive Congress (APC) Hausa-Fulani Forum has appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to consider the party’s patriotic members in the ministerial appointment.
The forum made the call through the chairman, Alhaji Sanusi Zubairu Galadimawa, at a press conference in Abuja yesterday.

He said Buhari should consider first the people that campaign, voted and protected his votes in the FCT.
According to him, Buhari overwhelmingly won all the Hausa-Fulani polling units in the FCT, adding that 70 per cent of his votes in the 2015 general election came from Hausa-Fulani, therefore, they needed to be given the FCT minister.

The forum condemned the protest meted against PMB by some FCT indigenous groups, saying that the same groups are nowhere to be found during the campaigns and voting processes.
“We are aware of the fact that some PDP political desperados are their sponsors, as all their actions shows clear desperation to reap what they have not sow
“APC Hausa-Fulani wish to state clearly that we are not against any individual, group of individuals or tribe. All we demand Mr. President is to give us what we deserve.
