Yobe state governor Mai Mala Buni on sunday received members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), including a one time Yobe PDP deputy guber candidate, Alhaji Abba Gana Tata into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Buni who received them at the event centre, Government House Damaturu, expressed joy that highly respected people are joining the ruling party under his administration in the state.
He explained that Alhaji Tata is an icon in the opposition party for all of his political life.
Earlier in his remarks, Alhaji Tata said, he decided to join APC because of the good leadership style of Governor Buni in the state.
He noted that he was overwhelmed with the developmental policies and programmes of APC.
