Super Eagles Group A AFCON rivals Equatorial Guinea have been forced to cancel a warm-up match after they could not reach an agreement with Cameroon.
Nzalang National were due to face Cameroon in Olembe on January 8 as part of their preparations for the AFCON.
However, it was gathered that the Cameroonian football federation FECAFOOT had only offered local transportation and accommodation for Equatorial Guinea.
Equatorial Guinea will open their 2023 AFCON campaign on January 14 in Abidjan against the Super Eagles.
Hosts Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea Bissau are the other teams in Group A based in Abidjan.
