Enugu Rangers to build museum to preserve history – Ezeaku



The management of Rangers International Football Club of Enugu, the Flying Antelopes, is planning to establish a museum so that Rangers history does not go into extinction.



Rangers General Manager, Barr. Amobi Ezeaku dropped this weekend at the Centre for Memories, CFM, Ncheta Ndigbo, Awgu Street, Independence Layout, Enugu during the Premiere of Rangers Documentary organised by the Centre.



The Premiere tagged, “Never Say Die: The Story Of Rangers Football Club,” is meant to preserve Rangers history from inception in the ‘70s till date.

Speaking at the occasion, Ezeaku said that they were doing everything possible to see that the story of their darling club does not die but continues for posterity, pointing out that they were planning to build a museum where the relics of Rangers would be preserved.

“We don’t want Rangers story to die. We are planning Rangers museum do that the history of Rangers does not go into extinction.  We want to leave a relic for the upcoming generation,” he said.

The Rangers manager said that he was so obsessed with Rangers that he would not mind dying a martyr talking about Rangers.

“If I die talking about Rangers, I’ll die as a martyr and I won’t mind,” the Rangers GM declared.

Also speaking at the occasion, Rangers pioneer goal keeper, Emmanuel Okala, said they made Rangers a full time business and made sure that no team defeated Rangers.

According to Okala, Rangers was a spirit and they did not want it to die.

“We took Rangers as a full time business. We made sure that no one scored against Rangers,” he reminisced.
