There is high turnout of female voters in the ongoing governorship and state Assembly election in Gombe state.
Our Correspondent reports that in Kwami, Nafada and Funakaye local government areas women came out en-masse to cast their vote.
Aishatu Muhammad Jibirin of madaki quarter in Nafada town who spoke with our Correspondent said she was satisfied with the voting process.
“I am happy today that cast my vote to the candidate of my choice without influence from anybody or political party,” she said.
