DSS sack former spokesperson Marilyn Ogar

Unconfirmed report reaching us indicate that the Department of State Services (DSS) has sacked its former spokesperson, Ms Marilyn Ogar.

Ogar’s  fate may not be unconnected with her alleged role in the last administration and the run-up to the 2015 election.

Ogar was accused of alleged partisanship in the build-up to the general elections, according to the ruling APC party.

The former spokesperson during the build up to the national elections presented to the media cloned Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) allegedly registered by the All Progressive Congress (APC) in readiness to rig the February 2015 elections.

According to Ogar at that time the APC was also said to have clandestinely registered underage voters, babies, infants and even security operatives as well as foreigners as its members at a building in no 10, Bola Ajibola street, Ikeja, Lagos state.

In what is perceived as a witch hunt by some security expert , she was demoted last month from the rank  of Assistant Director.
