President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje and the entire members of the party, were on Thursday congratulated over their victory at the Supreme Court.
Tinubu’s group, under the aegis of BAT 4/4 Initiative, said that the distractions caused by the Peoples Democratic Party PDP (PDP) and Labour Party candidates have finally come to an end, adding that this is the time Atiku Abubakar should call and congratulate Tinubu.
The Tinubu’s group, in a statement by its Director General, Engr. Dan Ohiomoba said, “our President can continue his good works and focus on his renewed hope agenda. The president has confirmed the victory as only an invitation to work harder for the Nigerian people whose freely given mandate has now been reasserted.
“The President is fully aware of the hardship being experienced by the people; his victory at the Supreme Court has now banished all extraneous distractions. It is now a clarion call for all patriots especially Alh. Atiku Abubakar to embrace the path of honour by immediately putting a call across to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and congratulate him on his well deserved victory both at the polls and the judiciary so as to continue the democratic maturity which former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan established in his famous congratulatory call to former president Mohammadu Buhari.
“Consistent with BAT’S 4/4 Initiative resolution affirmed at Chief Francis Soriwei Nember’s office in Abuja, I believe it’s now of more importance for the President to look into the unending rising cost of living that has been badly influenced by the rise of dollar.
“We already note with keen interest and admiration his desire to appoint young people into critical sectors of the Nigerian economy at a rate which has never before been seen.
“We urge all Nigerians, regardless of their ethnicity, orientation, religion or political affiliation to support the president’s mandate which course we, the BAT’S 4/4 Initiative shall relentlessly champion.”
