Veteran singer and activist, Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy has condemned northern Muslim youths for burning posters Afropop singer, Davido.
Charlyboy made this remark after a video that since gone viral shows some youths from the north burning the posters of the afrobeat singer, Davido with someothers claiming he disrespected the Islamic beliefs while demanding an apology.
Via his Twitter handle on Thursday, Charlyboy slammed the youths from the region for burning posters with Davido’s image.
He said: “Abegi, make we hear word. Una dey burn Davido picture, una life don better? Abi Na Davido dey increase poverty for north? Una Allah wey dey do local runs for northern Nigeria never travel go Dubai see as correct Muslims dey live? Abegi, if e pain una reach, go to court. Nonsense”
