Buhari ’ll win Niger – Bello

Governor Abubakar Sani Bello has said that President Mohammedu Buhari will win Niger state in 2019 despite defection of some members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
Bello stated this yesterday while addressing supporters and members of APC who embarked on solidarity rally to welcome him back from Kaduna.
He said his administration will continue to build on infrastructures and other development strides embarked upon by his government in the past three years.
He thanked the people for their support over the years.
He said the show of solidarity would motivate his administration to deliver more dividends of democracy adding that he will not fail them on the confidence reposed on him.
The governor’s convoy, it was learnt, was stopped by his supporters at four points along the Kanduna – Suleja – Minna road, particularly at Tafa, Maje, Lambata and Pogo before riding into Minna with a crowd of supporters.
Our correspondent learnt that motorists and travelers complained against the gridlock created on the road by the governor and his supporters.
It was also learnt that travelers were stranded on the road for hours due to the procession of APC supporters which drew the anger of motorists who also lamented the bad condition of the road.
