Breaking: Tinubu makes U-turn, withdraws newly appointed FERMA Chairman

President Bola Tinubu, Thursday, directed the withdrawal of the nomination of Engr. Imam Kashim as the Chairman of Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA).

A statement by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President, announced the withdrawal of Imam with immediate effect.

Though no reason was cited for the withdraw of the appointment.

Ajuri noted that all other appointments to the board and executive management team of FERMA are not affected by the directive.

Recall that there had been heavy backlash and criticism on the Federal Government following the appointment of Imam into the board of FERMA.
