Former Governor of Anambra state, Willie Obiano, is in for another hurdle after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) reopened high profile cases.
Obiano according to the Commission is set to be arraigned before the court on Wednesday January 24, 2024.
Confirming the latest development, EFCC’s spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, said, “Yes, we’re arraigning Obiano tomorrow.”
The former governor was first arrested at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos, on March 17, 2022, as he was preparing to board a flight to Houston, the United States of America, hours after leaving office.
