Fire has reportedly razed a 330 kilovolt (kV) facility of Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) transmission substation in Birnin-Kebbi, Kebbi State.
The cause of the fire incident which comes barely 24 hours after a national electricity grid collapse is yet unknown.
The spokesperson for Kebbi State Police Command, Nafiu Abubakar, on Friday confirmed the incident but said he did not have details of the incident as at the time of filling this report.
