The Borno state Commissioner of Justice, Hauwa Abubakar, has pledged full support to activities of Allamin Foundation and a renewed collaboration with the foundation on peace- building, reconciliation, resettlement and reintegration of victims of Boko Haram insurgency.
He also expressed her happiness and enthusiasm over the appreciable activities of Allamin Foundation for vulnerable children, youth, women, widows, orphans and the disabled among others, while promising to establish a synergy between the Ministry of Justice and Allamin Foundation for proper and effective peace- building and development in the state.
The commissioner who stated this Monday in her office at the state secretariat while receiving a delegation from Allamin Foundation led by the executive director, Hajiya Hamsatu.
Abubakar commended the state of facilities and the welfare of inmates in detention camp recently when she visited the camp to assess facilities and health of the inmates from the Boko Haram insurgency under detention by the military command.
She commended Col. Ahmed, the Commandant of Giwa Barracks for the improved facilities and services at the camp.
Other issues she mentioned include welfare of inmates.
