Bala shuts down Bauchi school where teenage boy died

The Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed has ordered the immediate closure of the school in Bauchi metropolis where a teenage boy, Mohammed Abidin Musa was found dead and his body organs ripped out by suspected ritualists.

The governor gave the order on Wednesday when he led a security heads and other government officials on a condolence visit to the family of the victim in Gidan Bare-Bari.

While sympathising with the family, Governor Bala called on parents to be watchful of the movements of their wards and as well ordered security agencies in the state to intensify efforts to arrest the perpetrators of the barbaric act.

He said that the school would remain closed to deepen the investigation, adding that his administration would collaborate with security agencies to ensure that the miscreants were brought to book.
