Badaru appoints Brigadier General as SSA security matters

To keep Jigawa state safe and peaceful, Governor Mohammed Badaru Abubakar has approved the appointment of Brigadier General Garba Mairiga Ringim (rtd) as Senior Special Assistant on Security Matters.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government of Jigawa, Alhaji Adamu Abdulkadir Fanini in Dutse.

The appointee, Brigadier General Garba Mairiga retired was a former lecturer at the Advanced Teachers College Gumel, from the Army, after attaining the position of Director, History, Research and Archives at National War College, Abuja.

The statement further explained that such measures taken by Governor Badaru will continue to keep the state save from the hands of criminals who always bend on causing chaos in the society.

The statement also urged miscreants to stay away from causing trouble in the state. Pointing out that no single law abiding citizen of the state will be allowed to be hart by criminals.

According to the statement, the appointment took effect immediately.
