Arewa House is located at No. 1 Rabah road, Kaduna, Kaduna state, North-west, Nigeria. This architectural gem serves as a hub for research, preservation, and celebration of Northern Nigeria’s diverse traditions.

Arewa House (Gidan Arewa in Hausa), with its beautiful and intricate details, was built in 1970 and has since become an iconic symbol of Northern Nigeria. It was established to mark the birth of Sir Ahmadu Bello, the first Premier of Northern Nigeria, and to honour his contributions to the region’s development. Today, it stands as a monument to his legacy and the rich history of the North. Currently, the director of the House is Dr. Shuaibu Shehu Aliyu.
