Arabi lauds AHUON, recommends training for members


The Acting Chairman/CEO, Malam Jalal Ahmad Arabi, of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has lauded the remarkable efforts of the Association for Hajj and Umrah Operators of Nigeria (AHUON) to organise a hitch-free Hajj 2024 through the training of members on new initiative.
The chairman who stated this at a seminar organised by AHUON held at the Immaculate Hotel, Abuja.
The chairman who was the special guest at the occasion, stated the need for positive partnership between NAHCON and the association to make sure pilgrims get value for money.
Represented by Alhaji Alidu Shittu, director, Inspectorate and Compliance, the chairman commended the effort of the organiser in putting up the training with a view to enhancing their member’s knowledge on new development in hajj operation.

He appealed to them to enroll in the commission’s newly established Hajj Institute of Nigeria (HIN) for professional studies.

He said: “Mr. President, I want to urge you and your members to avail yourself series of trainings been organised by the Hajj Institute of Nigeria in order to bring their members up to speed and abreast of the current happenings in the hajj industry. It may interest you to know that top management staff of the commission just graduated from the institute with Certificate in Strategic Management of Hajj & Umrah.”
