APC set to welcome Ogba, other PDP leaders

The All Progressives Congress(APC)in Ebonyi state Monday said it will organize a rally  for all the leaders of People’s Democratic Party(PDP) and Labour Party(LP) who resigned from their parties.

Senator Obinna Ogba who represented Ebonyi central senatorial zone between 2015 to 2023 and a former House of Representatives member, Mr. Livinus Makwe who represented Onicha, Ohaozara and Ivo federal constituency  in 2015 to 2023 both resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party alongside some state working committee members and local government chairmen.

Also, the deputy governorship candidate of Labour Party(LP)in the last general elections, Prince Ajah Nwabueze Igwe, resigned from  Labour Party Sunday.

Mr. Stanley Okoro Emegha, Ebonyi state chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) stated the readiness of the party to welcome them.

 He said, “The obvious fact is that after politicking, comes governance. We have concluded politicking. Finally, it’s APC they will join because it is the people’s mandate.

“For the people that are joining us, resigning from their various political parties, party is like a church. When you repent and come into the church, if you are clapping very well, you will move to the choir. If you are praying very well, you will come close to the pastor,” he said.
