APC group urges Tinubu to appoint Buraimoh NACETEM DG

Some leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the aegis of the Lagos Central APC Forum have again urged President Bola Tinubu to pick  Comrade Peter Folajimi Buraimoh  as the director general of National Centre For Technology Management (NACETEM).

The group said appointing   Buraimoh as the agency’s DG will also ensure “equity and fairness” in the administration’s appointment.

Chairman of the forum, Comrade Olamide Rufai , made the call in Lagos after the group’s emergency meeting weekend.

The youth group said Tinubu should tap from the strength of youth like Buraimoh in building a healthy and prosperous nation.

“We, the undersigned APC supporters, fervently appeal to the president to consider appointing a young and dynamic Comrade Peter Folajimi Buraimoh as the director general of National Centre For Technology Management (NACETEM).

“NACETEM plays a vital role in shaping the lives and careers of our youth, and it is crucial that its leadership reflects the energy, aspirations, and challenges faced by the youth of our nation.

“Youthful leadership would bring fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and a deeper understanding of the issues affecting young graduates during their service year. This would lead to more relevant programs and initiatives aimed at empowering our youth and promoting national unity.

“We believe that appointing Buraimoh as director general would not only inspire confidence but also set a precedent for recognising the capabilities and potential of our younger generation. It is time for our youth to lead, guide, and influence the NACETEM’s future for the betterment of our nation,” he said.
