All Progressive Congress (APC) Chieftains in Gombe state Dr Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna has applauded the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for improving the electoral process in the Governorship and state House of Assembly election.
Dr. Gwamna stated this in an interview with Journalists in Gombe on Saturday after casting his vote.
He said the Governorship election is better organised when compare to the presidential where so many errors were recorded.
“Election has always been a learning process and there is improvement in this one when compared to the presidential.
“Many problem have been rectified we are very grateful to INEC for the improvement recorded,” he said.
He also made an appeal to people who have no business in the polling unit to leave and pave a way for peaceful collation.
He attributed the law turnout of voters in some areas to fear of unknown or threats by some miscreants.
Gwamna also commended security agents for the adequate arrangement put in place which led to peaceful exercise.
