AMAC/Bwari constituency: Jiba commissions 25 projects across communities

The immediate past lawmaker representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency, Micah Jiba, on Tuesday, embarked on commissioning our of 25 intervention projects in Bwari Area Council and Abuja Municipal Area Council, (AMAC) sponsored in the 2020 Budget.

During the commissioning tour in Abuja, Jiba said the projects were in fulfilment of some of his campaign promises to improve the living standard in the constituency.

Jiba said, “This commissioning of projects still remains a legacy that I have made and that can never be forgotten in a hurry. 

“I am very fulfilled now that I have completed these projects. The funding for some of the projects came and I was able to utilize it appropriately and the contractors did commendable jobs on site.

“I am happy when I see that our intervention projects are delivered to each locality. That is one of the ways that our people in the grassroots would enjoy the dividends of democracy in the territory.”

The lawmaker reiterated his commitment to ensuring the people living in the 22 political wards of AMAC/Bwari constituency enjoy the dividends democracy in FCT wherever he is given another opportunity to serve his people.

Blueprint reports that some of the projects commissioned include a three block of classrooms and furnishing at Pilot Science Primary School, Bwari, a five block of classrooms at Dawaki, a five block of class with offices and toilets at Piwoyi Community, a solar borehole in Gbobwidna in Bwari Central, construction of solar borehole in Jibi Dei Dei, motorised borehole at Chika, installation of 500KVA transformer at Gosa community.

Others are: motorised borehole at Ketti community, newly installed 500 KVA transformer at Kurudu Army Barracks in AMAC, motorised borehole at ECWA Bible School, Karu and ICT Centre at JSS Nyanya, among others.
