Aliyu sends delegation to IBB in German hospital

Niger state government has dispatched  a special delegation on a visit to Former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (rtd), who had undergone surgery in a German hospital.
The former ruler is said to have gone through successful surgery in   ailment relating to aching back bone.

Our reporter learnt that the Chief of Staff, Umar Nasko, the Commissioner for Agriculture, Professor Mohammed Kuta Yahaya, and IBB’s cousin and Director General Niger state Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), Alhaji Dattijo Aliyu, as well as brother of Governor Aliyu and Managing Director Niger state development Company, Alhaji Mohammadu Aliyu, were amongst the delegation.
Governor Aliyu was said to had wanted leading the delegation but was held back by state engagements that needed urgent attention.

The delegation said the former Nigerian leader was recovering very well.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Mr Israel Ebije, confirmed the visit of the team.
A family source also maintained that IBB was responding to treatment and recovering from the surgery.
