A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) helicopter, with call sign Shark 23 on a training mission, executed a controlled forced landing four minutes after take-off at the runway approach end of Yola International Airport yesterday in the morning.
A statement issued yesterday by the Director of Information, Defence Headquarters, Major-General Chris Olukolade, said there was no casualty recorded as all the crew members had been recovered back to the base.
It added that the Nigerian Air Force Headquarters had already set up an investigation panel to unravel the circumstances that led to the incident.
