The management and staff of the FCT Administration have been advised to imbibe the ideal of a new Nigeria as envisioned by the federal government. The FCT Permanent Secretary, Engr. John Obinna Chukwu, gave this advice at the weekend, while some directors of the FCT Administration organised a surprised birthday reception for him. The Permanent Secretary remarked that the greatest love they would shower on him is to imbibe the ideal of a new Nigeria in order to make Nigeria great again.
Chukwu reiterated that there is no place like home and therefore called on all the staff of the FCT Administration to rise to the challenge by being patriotic, by doing their best in their respective offices to contribute their quota to well being of the country . He emphasised that all Nigerians must make the country work. Chukwu called for cooperation, support, partnership and loyalty to the federal government to enable the new government deliver on its mandate to the people of Nigeria while thanking the staff for their surprise birthday package.
FCT Director of Establishment and Training, Salihu Hawat Mohammed, who spoke on behalf of the management and staff of the FCT administration said they decided to organise the brief and surprise reception for the Permanent Secretary to rejoice with him on the auspicious day. The director used the occasion to thank God for the quality leadership the Permanent Secretary has been bequeathing to the FCT Administration and prayed to the Almighty for his continued sound health to further serve the nation.
