Adamawa trekker commences worldwide trek

Adamawa’s intrepid and adventurous trekker Abubakar Duduwale, who in the wake of President Muhammadu Buhari’s election victory, last year, trekked a distance of about 900 Km from Yola to Abuja, is set to create a new world record in trekking.
Duduwale who made his intention known when he paid a call on the Adamawa state commissioner of Youth and Sports, Sulaiman Zumo, said he would commence trekking from Yola  to England en-route Ghana in the spirit of peace and progress.
He noted that he would also pay a courtesy call on the emir of Kano  and to seek his royal blessings from where he will proceed to Ghana.

Duduwale said from Ghana, he will proceed to the United Kingdom where he intends to pay a courtesy call on her majesty the queen of England where his audacious journey will terminate.
Commending the foresight of Duduwale, the commissioner Sulaiman Zumo said his ministry was ready to assist youth in fulfilling their ambitions noting that trekking is another form of sports that people should invest their energies in.
Zumo then presented a token of cash gift to the tune of N200,000 to Duduwale alongside track suits for his usage during the journey just as he wished him safe journey and God’s protection during the epic journey.
