ABU alumni association hails education, water resources ministers 

Ahmadu Bello University Alumni Association has commended the Ministers of Education, Malam Adamu Adamum, and that of Water Resources Engr. Suleiman Hussaini Adamu, for their roles in supporting the growth and development of the university. 

President of ABU Alumni Association, Dr. Ibrahim Sani Khalil, commended Malam Adamu particularly for chairing the 15th Annual General Assembly (AGA) Lecture, while lauding the Engr. Hussaini Adamu for chairing the AGA technical session at the University in Zaria.

Dr. Khalil said both ministers, who are also members of the alumni association, deserved commendation for their inimitable roles on the development of the university especially during the two days event.

He also expressed appreciation to the Executive Secretary of TETFund, Arc. Sunday Sylva Togo Echono, who served as the guest lecture and presented a paper at the AGA.  

“Ahmadu Bello University Alumni Association highly appreciated the Secretary to the Government of Federation, Boss Mustapha, Governor of Kano state, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for sending representatives during the AGA, Emir of Zazzau, Amb. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli and the Vice Chancellor ABU Zaria, Prof. Kabiru Bala and his management team for their active participation and support. 

“The Alumni Association recognizes the presence of the Pro – Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council, University of Abuja, Prof. Ahmed Muhammad Modibbo, former Chairman Governing Council, Bayero University, Amb. M.A. Jumba and the Secretary to Kano State Government Alhaji Usman Alhaji.

The Alumni president commends all the delegates from the 38 states branches including FCT, Zaria and those that participated virtually from all over the world particularly United Kingdom, United States of America, faculty based chapters, among others,” he said.
