Abdulmumin Salau: Championing Tinubu’s Coalition in Niger state

“I know where I am going, and I know the truth, and I don’t have to be what you want me to be. I am free to be what I want to be”, – Muhammed Ali, a former boxing heavyweight champion and legend

These illuminating words of Muhammed Ali succinctly captures the unique personality of Ambassador Mumin Salau, the facilitator of Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu 619 coalition groups in Niger state. Popularly known as the Jagaban, Tinubu is a great political strategist, cum politician of repute and trusted grassroots oriented politician, leader of leaders, a man with knack for excellence, a bridge builder, a nation builder as well as an indefatigable advocate of national unity and integration.

Ambassador Salau has come a long way in grassroots politics. A graduate of political science from the University of Abuja, Salau is an industrialist with vast experience in tourism. He has always been as constant as the Northern Star. He is in the vanguard to see that Asiwaju’s political aspiration for Nigerian Presidency come into reality in 2023 and beyond.

Due to his ability as a great grassroots mobiliser, Salau was unanimously elected to steer the affairs of 619 coalition groups rooting for Tinubu/Shettima presidential ticket. His integrity, simplicity, candour and interpersonal relationship with the grassroots and all those committed to the Tinubu/Shettima project are some of the qualities that endear him to the people.

It is believed that Salau is intellectually sound and has the charisma to galvanise and mobilise support and votes for the APC presidential flagbearer as the elections draw close. This great Nigerian is a great team player, who believes in Henry Ford assertion that “In every team work it is not the role that matters, but the goal to be achieved”

His tenacity and great commitment to service delivery was the reason for his appointment as the Coordinator of Asiwaju Tinubu/Shettima National Frontiers and he has not disappointed. Salau has brought his experience, exposure as well as intellectual acuity to bear in steering the affairs of the coalition.

It is believed that God willing, should Asiwaju Tinubu become the elected Nigerian president on February 25, Salau, an industrialist with vast experience in ICT, youth empowerment, human capital development will bring his experience to bear to help Asiwaju/Shettima Presidency for the common good of all Nigerians.

A Nigerian wise saying goes thus, “Men of substance are not dressed in gold, unless you scratch them, then you know they are made of gold”.
