The Buhari Campaign Organization (BCO) has described Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe’s, call on President Muhammadu Buhari to “resign” as a “mirage,”.
The group also dismissed the call saying it was made by a “political clown” who lacks credibility having failed to satisfy his bond on Nnamdi kanu.
The BCO National Coordinator, Alhaji Danladi Pasali, said this Thursday in a press release issued in Jos, the Plateau state capital.
Further, he said the call by the PDP leader in the senate was another of the party’s ill-motivated political antics, stressing that it has failed.
“The call for the “resignation” of President Muhammadu Buhari made by a PDP senator, Enyinnaya Abaribe, is not only a mirage, by was made by a political clown,” he said.
“We view Mr Abaribe’s comments as just political antics where he is trying to make his weak voice resonate. He shielded a wanted criminal and one of Nigeria’s great enemies, Nnamdi Kanu, by aiding him abscond from facing the lawfor an offence of security breached,” he added.
According to the BCO, if Mr Abaribe is sincere with his thought with all considerations on improving security, he should have cleared himself by working hard to help Nigeria to arrest and prosecute its security traitor, if he isn’t his accomplice.
The BCO said, “We hold the opinion that, the law must takes it course by apprehending Mr. Mr. Abaribe, until he satisfy the bond he signed to secured Kanu’s bail.”
It said the president has been up and doing his best to ensure the security of Nigerians.
“It is a clear fact that President Buhari has since 2015 been doing his best on the issue security and terrorism. All that he needs is genuine concerns and sincere supports from all Nigerians to succeed,” it said.
“Mr Abaribe’s called was to say the least, absurd, unwarranted statement made by a political clown,” it added.
