2023: Nigeria needs good economic policies for security of lives, property – Ajanaku

The Accord party House of Representatives candidate for Ibadan Southwest/Northwest federal constituency in Oyo state, Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku, on Tuesday said Nigeria needed good economic policies that would guarantee security of lives and property.

Otunba Ajanaku who stated this while addressing Accord loyalists, supporters, leaders from various communities in his constituency declared that if elected into the House of Representatives, he was ready to stand against anti-people’s policies as well as make great effort to prevent Nigeria from total collapse if voted for.

The Accord House of Representatives candidate noted  that lifting his people out of poverty remained a great priority to him, and that “with the current economic hardship we all are experiencing in Nigeria now, over 60 percent of the country’s population is living below poverty level and if the situation continue unabated, Nigeria will surely collapse”.

He maintained that “as a grassroots politician, someone very close to his people, I’m seriously feeling the heat and cannot continue to pretend that all is well when hundreds of Nigerians are eating whatever comes their way and suffering in the midst of plenty”.

“It’s true that myself and few other Nigerians with milk of human kindness are offering palliatives, awarding scholarships, organising free medical screening and treatment and giving grants to traders. All these cannot bail our people out of poverty”, he said.

Otunba Ajanaku added, “individual standard of living cannot improve or rise above poverty level untill the government makes Nigeria conducive for her citizens by making good economic policies that will guarantee security of lives and property, strengthen Nigerian currency, provide qualitative education for all, especially, from primary to secondary school, provide constant electricity, end energy problem and work out sustainable food production process”.

“From my analysis, solution to Nigeria problems rested in the quality and personality of the people elected to represent over 200 million Nigerians at the National Assembly.

“Legislators have constitutional rights to stand for their people by supporting government policy that will encourage economic development reformation, likewise reject anti-people policy that will add to the suffering of Nigerian masses.

Presenting himself to the electorate as the most suitable messenger who would not disappoint them if given the opportunity to represent Ibadan Southwest and Northwest federal constituency at the national assembly, Otunba Ajanaku said, “you will agree with me that our constituency needs a better representative now than before considering present economic situation to catch up and surpass those already in the comity of productive constituencies in Nigeria”.

“It is on this note that I, Oluwarotimi Ajanaku, is presenting myself as the most qualified, suitable, reliable and dependable candidate to represent Ibadan Southwest/Northwest federal constituency at the National Assembly.

“With the kind of love you have shown and still displaying towards me, I have no doubt that your bulk votes will be enough for me to emerge as a winner of 2023 House of Representatives election in Ibadan Southwest/Northwest federal constituency.

Speaking further, he said, “I think it’s also right for me to give a better positive and more assuring response to this unprecedented and overwhelming supports from my political leaders, various community leaders, residents of our great constituency, my friends, admires and well-wishers; and all I will say for now is, I will never betray the trust you have in me when I become your representative at the green chamber, so help me God.”
