Ahead of the 2019 general elections, former Vice President and a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has embarked on a journey to reconcile some of the aggrieved senior members of the party across the country, but beginning from Bauchi state.

The Turaki Adamawa, however, visited Bauchi state yesterday as part of efforts to reconcile Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Yakubu Dogara and the state governor Barrister Mohammed Abubakar, who have been in political war paths for sometimes.
Blueprint gathered that Turaki Adamawa’s reconciliatory visit was primarily meant to mend the fence between the Emir of Bauchi, HRH Rilwanu Adamu and the suspended Wazirin Bauchi, Alh. Bello Kirfi in Bauchi, who was recently suspended by the former.

It was also gathered that Atiku will use the opportunity to speak with Gov Abubakar on the need to allow peace to reign among the APC political gladiators in the state.
A news pictures released last night by Atiku Media office showed the former VP being received by the governor at Bauchi Airport yesterday.
Another photograph also showed Atiku being received by Emir of Bauchi, HRH Rilwanu Adamu, at a visit to reconcile the Emir and the suspended Wazirin Bauchi, Alh. Bello Kirfi in Bauchi, Bauchi state.
