Makarfi Youth Development Forum (MYDF) wishes to use this medium to appeal to the Hon. chairman, Makarfi local government area, and Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) to please come to the rescue of the people of Makarfi LGA over the total darkness being experienced as a result of stolen cable wires along Zaria-Kaduna expressway by thieves.
For your information, Makarfi LGA has been in total darkness for over 100 days now. The situation has adversely affected many businesses in the area, particularly those that require electricity to operate.
People of Makarfi, and by extension the student community of Shehu Idris College of Health Sciences and Technology (SICHST), are seriously concerned about the ugly development which has affected their daily endeavours.
At this juncture, therefore, this forum wishes to appeal to the hon. chairman and KEDCO to please take immediate action on this issue and provide a long-lasting solution to the recurring power problems in the area.
