Zamfara insecurity: Come to our aid – Bakyasuwa urges Tinubu

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara state and a security expert, Bello Soja Bakyasuwa, has urged President Bola Ahmad Tinibu to give more attention towards addressing the lingering insecurity affecting the state and other part of the Northwest.

Bakyasuwa, the immediate past Commandant, Zamfara Anti Thuggery Agency lamented the lingering banditry and kidnapping facing the state.

“Everyone is aware of the security situation had been bevelling the state for over a decade, hence the need for proactive measures to contain it by the authority concerned .

“The current insecurity and socioeconomic hardship among people particularly those affected with banditry in the state is a clear indication that the common man has no hope in life and President Tinibu must do the needful to salvage our people and the state as a whole ,” he said.

According to him, the activities of terrorists bandits in the state had contributed immensely towards increase of poverty.

“Some undesirable elements have turned Zamfara into deadly state do to their acts of barbarism and Mr President needed real information on what is happening in our state Zamfara.” He further hinted

Bakyasuwa also called on President Tinibu to appoint competent personalities from the state to assist in tackling security situation in the state.

“People with good records, proven integrity should be appointed from Zamfara in to President Tinibu Government for the State to have a sound representation especially to help Mr President with the real information on true situation of Zamfara.

“A State with people with proven integrity and competency like Sen Kabiru Garba Marafa shouldn’t be neglected.”
