The Yobe state Executive Council meeting chaired by Governor Mai Mala Buni, Wednesday approved the N7, 771,564,656.32 for the execution of various capital projects in the state.
Yobe state Commissioner for Home affairs, Information and Culture, Alhaji Mohammed Lamin, made this known while briefing newsmen after the council meeting in Government House, Damaturu.
Mohammed Lamin said after deliberation on a wide range of issues pertaining to the state and approved the establishment of Yobe State Education Trust Fund ( YETFUND ) and modalities of its various projects for implementation to improve the living standard of the people and enhance the health and education standard of its citizens.
Lamin stated that the executive council approved the sum of N4,527,657,292.00, for the procurement of medical equipment , medical curtains, hospital furniture and supply and installation of medical oxygen / piping at the Maternal and Child Health Complex , Yobe state University Teaching Hospital.
