The political special adviser to the Ekiti state governor, Chief Jide Awe, has said that “the will of God that beats all political and religious permutations paved the way for the victory of All Progressives Congress (APC) flag- bearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu at the February 25th presidential election.
Awe, a former chairman of APC in Ekiti state stated that Tinubu’s presidential victory is long envisaged before now, saying he is a “man with a bold heart despite the challenges he faced on his way, and still went ahead to win the election.”
He said, “Tinubu’s is not just a politician but a distant runner that is focused and straight- forward.”
He stated this in a chat with newsmen in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital and added that Tinubu’s time has come as the president and that the victory is not for a single man, but that it belongs to the entire citizens of the country.
The APC stalwart described the “election as very technical but adding that Tinubu still won in some key areas in the north where the giant fell.”
