Why Orji Uzor Kalu can’t win Senate President election – Adamu Garba

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Garba, has stated that despite Orji Uzo Kalu’s qualifications, he is unlikely to become the President of the 10th Senate due to the APC’s poor performance in the South-East.

Adamu, who appeared on Arise Television’s morning show on Monday, stated his belief that the Chief Whip of the senate would withdraw from the race for the senate presidency.

He said, “I am hundred percent confident that Senator Orji Uzor Kalu will withdraw from the race for the senate presidency.

“He is qualified but the performance from the South-east is considerably very low. He should find a way to organize the South-east so that they can mainstream with the APC strongly.”
