The senator representing Bauchi South, Malam Ali Wakili, yesterday asked Governor Mohammed Abubakar to stop inciting the people to revolt against members of the National Assembly.
He said he watched some video clips in which singers were allegedly sponsored to insult him and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.
Speaking with journalists, through his senior legislative aide, Mohammed Ladan Gumau, he said the recent inciting statements by the governor against the members of NASS  from the state in Azare, Misau and Bauchi local governments, while flagging-off roads construction, was a testimony to his accusation that the musicians were paid to denigrate them.

“The various hate songs and video clips sponsored by the Bauchi state government through some of its appointees, now in circulation, cast by some Jos and Kano-based Hausa film makers, are true testimonies to my earlier revelation about the plan by my political foes,” he said.
Wakili further claimed that their ‘political foes’ in the state had also set up “a heavily-bodied membership committee” that could be deployed to all the 320 wards of the state to incite people against him, Dogara and other colleagues in the National Assembly.
He reiterated his commitment to good governance through effective participation in the making of laws, provision of effective representation, elevating his constituency via building bridges, community outreach and giving of welfare, helping hand, empowerment and enhancement of the dignity of all.
