Reigning African Footballer of the Year, Victor Osimhen has been spotted attending a crossover service in a church in Lagos on New Year’s Eve.

The Super Eagles hitman who has been released by his Italian club, Napoli for the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire pulled up for service to the cheers and delight of the congregation.

In the video that has gone viral online, Osimhen could be seen walking to the pulpit amid whoops and applauses from the congregation.

The former Lille striker then shared a hug with the cleric who handed over the microphone to an overwhelmed Osimhen.

Also, Nigerian international artist, David Adeleke, famously known as ‘Davido,’ marked the end of the year 2023 by attending the Harvesters International Christian Centre in Lagos.

A viral video captured Davido and Isreal DMW, also known as Juju, along with their crew members in the church, joining numerous individuals worldwide attending crossover services to usher in the new year.

The clip showed the congregation momentarily losing focus, hailing the “Unavailable” crooner as he appeared on camera, prompting Pastor Bolaji Idowu to remind the members to concentrate on God’s word.

Meanwhile, on the same evening of Sunday, December 31, 2023, the church event witnessed the presence of Nigerian musician Rema alongside American singer Justine Skye.

Their joint attendance at the crossover service in Lagos drew immediate attention, sparking speculations about their relationship.

A circulating video on social media captured the moment when Rema and Justine Skye were escorted out of the church by a group of men after the conclusion of the crossover service.
