Vambe urges SDGs awardee Indyeiyol to be ICOSD’s good ambassador

President International Christian Organisation for Sustainable Development (ICOSD), Bishop (Prof) Joseph Vambe, has called on the recipient of ICOSD award 2022 to be good ambassador in his field of endeavour to foster the progress of the organisation and Nigeria in general.

Bishop Vambe called on the recipient, Mr. James Oryiman Indyeiyol, to join hands with other ethnic communities in the efforts to engender peace and progress in their respective areas of operation.

The cleric gave the advice during the presentation of ICOSD 2022 achievement award to the Chairman of Benue Zone A, Abuja, Mr. James Oryiman Indyeiyol, as Ambassador of Sustainable Development Goals, Nigeria chapter in Abuja on Sunday.

He said there was the need for all ICOSD members to embrace attitudinal change in order to make the organisation and Nigeria great, noting that nothing could be greater than serving the good people of Nigeria in faith; whether in the public or private sectors.

“Today we are gathered here to honour one of our sons in our match to greatness. This award cut across far and wide, and those conferred may have distinguished themselves,” he said.

The ICOSD president implored the recipient to work hard in order to lift the hope of the nation, adding that nation building requires sacrifices of all citizens.

In his response, the award recipient, James Indyeiyol, dedicated the recognition to God while pledging work hars in order to lift humanity and bring glory to Almighty God.

Receiving the ICOSD delegation, the Tiv community leader in Galadimawa Abuja, Zaki Asemakaha Benson, said his chiefdom encouraged everyone to see Abuja as his home where they can aspire to any level of social and political attainment, noting that he had no doubt that one of his sons being honoured deserved the recognition for service delivery and for exemplary leadership.
