A man simply identified as Edafe has reportedly been left dead after a thunder accompanied by lightning at a building site in Benin City.
The incident reportedly happened at Asoro Hill, Ekenmwan road in Oredo local government area of Edo state during a rainfall.
The thunderbolt was said to have displaced other persons around and afterwards hit the victim.
The state police spokesman, DSP Chidi Nwabuzor, could not be reached for comment.
