Sule launches Nasarawa Technology Village

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state Monday, commissioned 100 housing units as the first phase of the Nasarawa Technology Village (NTV).

He said the initiative of the project was to enhance economic growth, attract investment, create jobs, and tackle poverty.

He stated this during the commissioning of 100 housing units

Nasarawa Technology Village Phase one at Aso Pada, Karu LGA.

He also laid the foundation for the second phase of the project which comprises the construction of a Technology Incubation Hub and 370 housing units.

The governor said his administration was committed to providing accessible and affordable housing and other projects to the people of the state.

He also said that his administration was committed to the development of technology, adding that the digital economy was the way to go.

He appreciated Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno state, Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Mr. Ahmed Dangiwa, Sen. Tanko Al-Makura, speaker of the state legislature, Danladi Jjatau, among others, for attending the event.

Speaking, Prof. Babagana Zulum of Borno state commended Governor Sule for initiating the project.

Zulum said the Nasarawa Technology Village Project holds great promise as it will help the state leverage its abundant mineral resources to fuel innovation and technological advancements.
