PDP caretaker committee tasks Kaduna LG excos on inclusive policy


Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Caretaker Committee, Kaduna state has urged the new executive for the local governments to inculcate inclusiveness and open door policy to help the party grow in the state.  
The Kaduna state PDP caretaker committee equally urged the party members across the various local government areas and others sympathetic to the cause of the party to support its leadership to enable them have successful tenure. 


Speaking to Blueprint on Sunday in Kaduna, Chairman PDP Caretaker Committee, Kaduna, Hon. Bashir Tanimu Dutsinma, and Secretary of the Committee, Hon. Abdullahi Ali Kano, said the local government executive will be in office for four years. 
“Following the successful conduct of the local government area congresses of our party in Kaduna state for the purpose of electing new LGA executive, the national working committee of the party on behalf of the national executive committee of the party has approved the said congresses and the executive committee members that emerged therefrom in 19 LGAs. 


“The local governments are Kudan, Kaduna South, Ikara, Sabongari, Kubau, Jaba, Giwa, Kagarko, Zango Kataf, Kauru, Igabi, Kaduna North, Jema’a, Chikun, Kajuru, Kachia, Kaura, Birnin Gwari and Sanga. 
“These elected officers shall be the new local government area exco members and shall hold office for a period of four years pursuant to Section 47(1) of our party’s constitution (2017 as amended) and were virtually inaugurated on September 17th 2020 in line with Covid-19 guidelines. 
“While congratulating the new LG exvos on their success in the congresses, let us remind them of the utmost need to ensure inclusiveness in handling party affairs and to equally maintain the open door policy that our party is known for.


“We also appeal to our teeming party members and sympathisers to support the new exco in discharging the functions of their respective offices respectively.”
