Oyo state Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Alhaji Iskilu Akinsanya has tasked the Personnel of the command deployed to Ondo state for the governorship election.to abide by election guidelines .
Alhaji Akinsanya while addressing the 2000 NSCDC personnel comprising of intelligence ,Arm Squad, Special Force, Rangers and SWAT team at the Oyo state NSCDC Command Headquarters Agodi, Ibadan on Wednesday, said they were deployed to reinforce others on ground in Ondo for the conduct of a free, fair and credible election in the state.
Commandant Akinsanya stressed that there is the need for them to abide by the election guidelines by maintain orderliness at polling unit, collation Centre and be a good ambassador of the Corps.
He emphasised that all hand are on deck for a Joint Operation with all other Security Agencies to Curb any act of violence, assault, ballot snatching before, during ,and after the election.
He however, urged the electorate in Ondo to come out to exercise their civic right and conduct themselves in an Orderly Manner during and after the election with observation of government protocol on COVID 19 .
