Osinbajo got it wrong at Adamawa

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo failed to call a spade “a spade” and that does not help the situation at Adamawa State, especially at Numanland. Prof Osinbajo should have risen above the role of a spin-doctor and just tell the paramount chief of the Bachamas that it was wrong, very wrong, for machine-gun-wielding Fulani tribesmen to mow down Bachama peasants. It was not just a case of Bachamas and Fulanis failing to co-habit over the years. No, that was not the case at Numan. The case at Numan was one of incitement by hate speech by the Sultan of Sokoto and the subsequent government show of ineptitude when armed Fulanis invaded settled Christian villages. If Pastor Yomi Osinbajo would not speak for persecuted Christians, who would? Has the Presidency noticed such extreme softness in Pastor Osinbajo that a Muslim-Muslim, Buhari-Tinubu, ticket is being mooted for 2019?
