Olanlege, modern football administrator – Abdullahi

The chairman of the Kwara state football association, Hon. Idris  Musa Abdullahi, has described the Ekiti state football association chairman, Mr Bayo Olanlege, as a tool needed to move Nigerian football to greater height.

This was made known on Thursday, when the Ekiti state football association paid a courtesy visit to the Kwara state football association at the Alhaji Usman Mustapha football house Ilorin.

Honourable Abdullahi popularly called Thuraya, described Olanlege as young administrator willing to work, always ready to give all and very dedicated to the game of football.

“When you’re looking for people that will fix football in Nigeria beyond where it is today to the next level,  people like Bayo should be called upon.

“You’re very lucky to have a man like this, it is only what he does in Ekiti you know, but what he does at the National level is known to us,” he said.

Thuraya further appealed to the board members of the Ekiti football association to work in tandem with Bayo Olanlege so as to achieve the set goals for the association.

In response, Olanlege appreciated Abdullahi for welcoming the Ekiti state FA board members and availing himself to show them round the newly built Kwara football house.

Olanlege further revealed that the Ekiti FA is a strong admirer of what Mallam Musa Abdullahi and his executive board members are doing with Kwara state football.

He noted that the Ekiti FA board has plans to partner with the Kwara State FA to develop grassroots football when the Ekiti Cadet teams (U-13 and U-15) will visit for mid-term break to play friendly and familiarize with their peers in Kwara state.
