The National Directorate of Employment, NDE, has commenced registration of all unemployed youths across 17 local government areas of Yobe state.
The NDEYobe state coordinator, Hajiya Binta Aliyu, on behalf of the Director General of the NDE, Mallam Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo, made this known in a press statement made available to newsmen in Damaturu.
The statementsaid,”the state registration is scheduled to start on Monday 17th April to 5th May, 2023.
“The registration exercise will hold at NDE state office federal secretariat complex in damaturu and at the 17 Local government’s secretariat across Yobe state respectively”.
It said, the NDE coordinator appealed to all unemployed youths in Yobe state to use the advantage and register themselves in their respective local government areas to benefit from the programme.
“The federal government wants to have the full statistics of unemployed persons across the country in order to make a proper plan for them.
“Highest qualification, local government indegineship,valid means of identification (NIN), permanent home address and contact phone number are among the details required for the registration,” the statement added.
