NASS making moves to stabilise democracy, economy, says Senator Bamidele

The Senate Leader, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, has reassured Nigerians that the National Assembly is committed towards working with the three tiers of government to ensure that it stabilises the economy and democracy in the country within the shortest time possible.

Senator Bamidele gave the assurance in Ado-Ekiti while on an inspection tour of critical projects he initiated in his Ekiti Central senatorial district alongside the state, Governor Mr. Biodun Oyebanji.

The critical projects he embarked upon  included hospital buildings, medical students’ hostels, library, road infrastructure, mini-stadium in Ekameta, area of the state, among others.

Governor Oyebanji, during the tour  commended the lawmaker during the inspection of the projects located in Ado-Ekiti, Aramoko, Eriyiyan, Ijero-Ekiti,Efon, among others, where he said there was continuous unity among the stakeholders at the National Assembly.

Oyebanji said the initiative was a sign of better days, growth and development to  enhance public infrastructures in all the communities.

The governor noted that this collaborative effort was between the state government and the National Assembly to proactively address the needs of constituents and to address socio-economic growth of the citizens in Ekiti.

“Senator Bamidele stands as a symbol of hope and effective leadership and collaborative governance, paving the way for a transformative development for other regions to emulate.”

“Ekiti belongs to all of us. If there’s any local government you want to assist, assist them. I will always support the University and see what we can do. As a government, we are going to make a tremendous mark here”.

Bamidele lauded the entire leadership of the alumni association of EKSU under the watch of the global president working very closely with government and other stakeholders in the state and saying “it is always about EKSU.”
