My song sets out to fix distrust in courtship, marriage – Bjmurphy

An inspirational musician and highly talented artist, Bolaji Maruf,  popularly known as Bjmurphy,  says he releases a new song ‘IFE MI’ to fix distrust, suspicion
and unfaithfulness happening in both courtship and marriage.

Bjmurphy said this Thursday while speaking with journalists in Abuja.

“IFE MI  is a love song aimed at addressing challenges happening in both courtship and marriage because
men are often seen in the society as the villains in any failed relationship, while the women folks are always perceived as the victims.

“This song sets out to fix suspicion, distrust and unfaithfulness that brew and fester in both courtship and marital relationships which have often led to untimely break up,” he said.

According to him, this in turn breeds agony, emotional trauma, suicidal contemplation or suicide, murder and other instances. It subjects innocent children to uncertain future due to the absence of co-parenting.

“It also portrays a man as the perceived villain of such suspicion distrust, and unfaithfulness, who seeks to go the extra miles in order to salvage such huge misconception.

“The song preaches assurance and reassurance on the part of a man who tries to dispel whatever fragments of doubt his spouse nurses as a result of the aforesaid reasons as well as clutching on whatever available straw to get such relationship fixed.

“The man gives her thousands of reasons to see why their love is sweeter than honey and stronger than anything she could think of,” Bjmurphy said.

According to him, my new song which describes women as a builder of homes cautions them to desist from yielding to the negative pieces of advice from friends.

“Such advice destroys good relationship as well as happy home.

However, it is also advisable for men to see the beauty and strength in the love they share with their spouses without any compromise whatsoever,” he said.
