Masari delivers paper at Katsina confab on devt

The Katsina Vocational Training Centre (KVTC), in collaboration with MD Yusuf Research and Documentation House, has concluded arrangements for the 14th edition of the yearly conference on development.
A statement issued by Muhammad Danjuma Katsina said Governor Aminu Bello Masari would be the Special Guest of Honour and would also deliver the keynote address at the event scheduled for Thursday, March 31, at the Conference Hall of Katsina state Secretariat.

The theme of this year’s event, according to the statement, is “Youth Contribution in Reviving Economy and Security” and would be chaired by the Vice-chancellor, Umaru Yar’Adua University, Professor Idris Isah Funtua, while the chief host would Hon. Justice Umaru Abdullahi (Walin Hausa) President Court of Appeal Nigeria (retd).
Similarly, while the Emirs of Katsina and Daura, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman and Alhaji Umar  Faruq, would serve as Royal Fathers of the day.
The Centre has invited over 500 youth clubs and associations who would be expected to send in their members and representatives to participate in the discussion to revive the nation’s economy as well as security in Katsina state and the country as a whole.

In the same vein, the Centre has invited distinguished personalities, youth experts, economists from within and outside the state to listen to the speech of His Excellency in the occasion, in view of the significance of the theme of the event.
The statement added that this would be the 14th time the Centre had organised the conference, which many eminent personalities both within and outside the state would deliver lectures that often bringsolutions to nation’s socio political and economic problems.
