Kogi Poly to run Urban Planning, 10 other courses

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted full accreditation for Urban Planning and 11 courses of the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, presented for accreditation in December 2018.

Public Relations Officer of the polytechnic, Luke Yakubu, in a statement said the approval letter sent to the institution and signed by Musa M. Gogo, Director of Polytechnic Programmes, on behalf of the Executive Secretary of NBTE, stated that the accreditation would last for a period of five years with effect from the 2017/2018 academic session.

The accredited programmes include National Diploma (ND) Foundry, Public Administration, Office Technology and Management, Accountancy, and Library and Information Science. Others are Higher national Diploma (HND) Urban and Regional Planning, Public Administration and Management, Accountancy and Institutional Management.
